MedikareAI exists because cosmetic surgery, med spa, and aesthetic clinics were being asked to choose between generic form tools and fragmented point solutions. We think the workflow deserves better than either.
Why we build this
Premium cosmetic surgery clinics run on trust — patients are sharing sensitive information and making significant decisions, often before they've met their clinician in person. The intake and consent process is where that trust is either built or lost.
We built MedikareAI to give practices a single, reliable place to manage intake, consent tracking, and audit logging — designed from the start around the compliance obligations that come with handling protected health information, rather than retrofitted onto a generic practice-management tool.
We are a small, focused team. That shapes how we build: fewer features, built solidly, with a clear boundary around what the product does and does not do.

Built for one specialty, not every practice
Cosmetic surgery, med spa, and aesthetic clinics have a different intake and consent workflow than general medicine. We build for that workflow specifically, instead of forcing it into a generic form builder.
Encrypted and audited by default
Every PHI field is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and every read or write to a patient record is logged to an append-only audit trail. This isn't a paid add-on — it's how the platform is built.
Staff judgment stays in control
Our AI features are single-purpose and scoped — one call flags what needs a human look. We don't run autonomous agents that make decisions on a clinic's behalf.
Built to grow with real clinic needs
We ship what clinics actually ask for, in order, rather than building speculative features ahead of demonstrated need. The roadmap is shaped by the practices using the platform.

- Vetted, BAA-covered providers for anything that touches PHI — e-signature, OCR, and patient communications run through established infrastructure, not custom-built replacements.
- Role-aware access on every page and every API route, enforced server-side — not just hidden in the UI.
- No real patient data in development or testing environments, ever.
- Clear, conservative product boundaries — we'd rather ship a smaller feature well than a broad one that outruns what the backend actually supports.
